Local Bell Block resident Len Houwers is upset at the cost of his rates going up. So he has decided to try and take things up with the council. Len has designed a survey for all residents to find out if people are unhappy or not about the cost of their rates. Mr. Houwers told the Taranaki Daily News that his rates had gone from $900 to $1400, over the last few years, despite being a rural Bell Block resident who doesn’t receive sewerage, water reticulation or kerbside rubbish collection. If you want to contribute to Len’s survey you can find his survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/8S5WFQM
