BREAKING NEWS: A person has been shot after the Armed Offenders Squad were called to an incident in Bell Block. Police spokeswoman Sara Stavropoulos said police and the Armed Offenders Squad were called to an incident at the New Plymouth Golf Course in Bell Block at about 4am this morning, Saturday 8th June 2013. “Someone has been shot, and that person is not a member of police.” She said police at this stage were unable to give any more details on the nature of the callout, and she could not give details on the condition of the person who had been shot.
