Bell Block Boy gone missing

The distressed family of a 16-year-old Bell Block youth have been out searching the streets for him since he went missing on Monday. Bare-footed, Nikolao Meafua, known as Niko, has not been seen since he left home following an argument with his family about 10am three days ago, Sergeant Stephen Richardson said yesterday, Wednesday 12th June 2013. The extended family have been searching the streets, door-knocking and have posted requests for help on Facebook asking for assistance to find him. The Police said the last time Niko was seen was about lunchtime on Monday the 10th June 2013 near the East End skate ramp but police were yet to confirm this sighting. Since going missing Niko, a student at New Plymouth Boys’ High School, had not been attending school nor had he been going to his part-time job at Pak ‘n Save. He is described as Samoan, about 180cm tall, of slim build and light brown skin with short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a zipped sweat top with black square patterns, black tracksuit pants with two green stripes on the sides and no footwear. Please contact the Bell Block, or any other Police Station to advise a sighting of him.
