Police believe Bell Block teenager Nikolao Meafua may be receiving assistance from people who do not realise he is missing. The 16-year-old left his family home thirteen days ago after an argument with his mother and has not has been seen since. Despite extensive searches Niko’s family and the police have not managed to find the New Plymouth Boys’ High School student. Police had investigated reported sightings of Niko and remained hopeful he was safe. The Police think that at this stage it is highly likely that he is receiving assistance from people who are unaware that he is missing and his family is distraught. Police believe the people assisting Niko were just trying to help “a well-mannered teenager. It is hoped those people will see his face in all the publicity this has attracted and come forward to tell the Police.
