New Plymouth District Council receive Green Light for Building Consents

The New Plymouth District Council have been given a clean bill of health to issue building consents. New Plymouth District Council’s regulatory manager, Mary-Anne Priest, has said the NPDC was last audited by Ianz in December 2012 and its accreditation was reconfirmed in April 2013. To get that accreditation the NPDC had to undertake five “corrective actions” concerning documentation. “They found the process to be technically proficient but the paperwork didn’t quite match it,” Ms Priest said. “They said to make sure the processes were mapped out so they could follow the documentation.” She said the actions were relatively minor and it was rare that an Ianz audit would not find anything. Let the house building in Bell Block boom!!!!!!
