Magnitude 5.7, Friday, July 19 2013 at 9:06:39 am (NZST)A ‘severe’ 5.7 magnitude earthquake has been felt throughout central New Zealand.The quake, which was 19 km deep, was centred 40km east of Seddon, Marlborough.GNS reported the earthquake as severe.The quake was reported as felt as far away as Christchurch and Bell Block,New Plymouth.People in Marlborough reported the quake as being felt in two jolts.
