Bell Block struck by Eathquake….twice in one day!

A Massive 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit New Zealand at 5.09pm, Sunday 21st July 2013. Aftershocks were continuing after the shake, with a 5.5 magnitude hitting within minutes. The shake struck at 5.09pm at a depth of 11km, 30km east of Seddon. Shakes are continuing in the capital and the earthquake was felt as far away as Hamilton and Christchurch. In Bell Block and other areas in Taranaki there were reports of pictures falling off walls, cracked concrete and lights swinging. The majority of the quakes were centred in the same area off Seddon in Marlborough that was hit on Friday by a 5.7.
