Circus in Bell Block proves big hit with fans

Circus Aotearoa is proving to be a big hit with Bell Block and Taranaki crowds. The animal-free circus includes an intriguing mix of traditional and modern human-based acts such as aerial, juggling, hula hoops, trapeze, clown routines and acrobatics. It began its 14-show schedule at Bell Block’s Hickford Park on Friday 20th July 2013. On Sunday 22nd July 2013 ringmaster Damian Gordon said he had been pleased with the crowds. “There has been good crowds of good people really enjoying themselves,” he said. It was a full house, both young and old, at Sunday’s mid-day show. The show, held in a traditional big top, takes a break today, Monday before one performance each day on Tuesday and Wednesday, then two shows a day through until the final show at 2pm on Sunday 28th July 2013.
