Children from both Bell Block School and Puketapu School joined into the TSB Community Trust Lantern parade on Saturday night 17th August at 6pm, in brilliant weather conditions held in New Plymouth. The parade started at Puke Ariki Landing and headed up Ariki Street, it turned right into Liardet St, right into Devon Street, up to the clock tower, right into Queen St, right into King St, left into Egmont St, right into Ariki, finishing at Puke Ariki Landing. Thousands of people took part, with many children bringing the whole family and their neighbours to this fabulous free community event.
