Police Notice for Bell Block Residents

Police wish to advise that over the past two months there has been a large spike in the number of theft ex cars within the Bell Block Area. The suspects for these crimes are believed to be a group of male FERAL youths aged between 14 and 18. They are targeting cars which have expensive items sitting inside them, or are unlocked and “easy targets” They enter the unlocked vehicle and search through gloveboxes and centre consoles. Please ensure that you lock your vehicle at all times and remove all expensive items from inside, even when it is parked in your driveway.Should you see any suspicious behaviour, or hear any noises out of the ordinary, especially if it involves a group of youths in this age group, then please call Police on 111
