A second half comeback has not been enough to stop Taranaki who were wearing their silly away playing jersey falling to their seventh loss of the season at Waikato Stadium tonight, Saturday 12th September 2013. Down 22-0 early in the second half, Taranaki got it back to 22-14 but could not finish the job to confirm sixth place out of seven in the NPC premiership. Playing into a strong wind in the first half, Taranaki brought plenty of intensity, they just made too many mistakes.
