As residents of Old Devon Road Bell Block, we think the changes to the speed limit and road layout are great. We have two family members who have had accidents coming in and out of our road. Now the passing lane has been taken out we can poke our vehicles out a little further to see more clearly traffic coming up the hill from Bell Block and New Plymouth. With the lower speed limit, cars don’t all of a sudden appear so quickly coming over the rise from the Brixton/Waitara way. Now we may not get the occasional fingers and horns tooted at us. For us, it’s certainly a lot safer.
