A person is dead near Bell Block after a car and truck crashed this morning, Thursday 13th February 2014. Bell Block Police said a heavy truck had jackknifed at the intersection of Egmont Road and Bishop Road about 7:20am. Bell Block Police also said the dead person was from the car. The road is blocked and traffic diversions are in place at Katere Road and Henwood Road and the road will be closed for several hours.
