Saturday the 15th February 2014 saw Part 2 of the busy program for the contestants of Miss Taranaki 2014 and Miss Junior Taranaki 2014. In brilliant Sunshine, Bell Block’s contestant, Ms Tawny Smith (Age 17) wore a striking (Lion’s Blue Colour) Summer Outfit, at the Pukekura Raceway in New Plymouth. This was the first event were her Sponsor’s, The Bell Block and District Lions Club sash was worn. This was a day designed to judge the contestants ability to cope with being introduced at a large public event. The Contestant’s Family and friends were very welcome, to enjoy this day, and contestants may stay after the introduction. Sash’s were to be worn at all times. Tawny looked very comfortable when up on the stage, and was a great ambassador on the day for her Sponsor’s, The Bell Block and District Lions Club.
