Drinks and Nibble’s were the order of the day when the 2014 Miss Taranaki Contestant’s had their Sponsors night presentation on Thursday 6th March 2014. The 3 hour event was held at the now ultra modern Mayfair in New Plymouth, which most people will of been too last century to watch a movie or two. A pleasant evening was had by all, were the 200 guests found themselves in a very positive youth environment as the contestants delivered their 20 second sponsors speeches.
The two Lion’s Contestants, Tawny Smith and Taya Wilson can be seen standing in the front row with Tawny proudly wearing the Bell Block and District Lions Club Sash and Taya proudly wearing the Eltham Lions Club Sash. One of 202D Lions District’s newest Melvin Jones Award Recipent’s ,Peter McDonald was also in attendance at this very rewarding Taranaki wide youth event with his wife Min, as their company, McDonald Real Estate had also enjoyed sponsoring two contestants.
