| Bell Block Police are wanting you to help us help each other. Have you got surveillance cameras installed at your work premises or home address? They want to hold this information securely in their database by mapping this information to create another tool in the detection and investigation of crime, and ultimately to reduce crime through a fear of apprehension. More and more people in our community are protecting their businesses and properties. Please contact them via the email address below with your contact name and phone number and they will arrange a time for a Police Officer to visit and assess your CCTV system. Any recorded camera footage of public areas such as footpaths, driveways and streets are their focus. It is becoming more common for Police to capture offenders for crimes with the help of the community in this way. Please dont underestimate the value in having such a database, they have solved crimes from damaged letterboxes to murder with camera footage installed be either businesses or house owners.
