Chance of stunning eclipse

Bell block Space-gazers could catch a stunning lunar eclipse tonight, Tuesday 15th April 2014 – if the clouds part. Two total lunar eclipses are forecast in 2014, the first of which is this evening. During the early evening, Earth will move directly in between the Sun and the Moon. The last total eclipse happened in 2011. Despite receiving no light directly from the Sun, the Moon will remain visible from the light which scattered as it passed through the Earth’s atmosphere, The height of the eclipse would be reached about 7.45pm. The heavens may have aligned but the weather did not look as if it would join the party. The low-pressure system sitting west of Bell Block today will push cloud and then rain this evening over the centre of the country.
