The Cross’s are up at the Bell Block Cenotaph

For the very first time this century the cross’s are back up for ANZAC Day at the Bell Block Cenotaph. The crosses will now be looked after by the very active Bell Block and District Lions Club with the missing crosses made in time for the 100 year celebration of the ANZACS on 25th May 2015. Selwyn Williams(in the photo) is the project manager for this and said since he has lived in Bell Block from 1993 this is the first time the crosses have been displayed at the Bell Block Cenotaph. The plan is starting next year (2015) is that a service will be held at the Bell Block Cenotaph each and every year. Poppy Day on Thursday 24th April 2014 will see a poppy added to each cross on display at the Bell Block Cenotaph.
