4 Voting Days to Go to Stop Maori Wards for another 6 Years

Voting for the binding referendum on New Plymouth District Council’s Maori ward seat closes midday on Friday May 15th 2015. Anyone voting after Monday May 11th 2015 is advised to hand deliver their votes so they arrive before the cutoff. Votes can be delivered to the Civic Centre in New Plymouth, or the Waitara, Inglewood or Bell Block libraries. About 20,600, or 36.62 per cent, of voting papers have been returned so far. The results of the binding referendum are expected to be announced before 5pm on Friday May 15th 2015.
