Saturday Evening on the 9th May 2015 will be remember for the 2 small earthquakes that jolted Bell Block, with the 2nd Earthquake also coming with a rumble-roar sound. Only 33 minutes separated the 2 earthquakes, the 1st happening at 9:01pm Saturday 9th May 2015 with the 2nd happening at 9:34pm. Both were at 8km in Depth, with the 1st being 3.4 Magnitude and the 2nd at 2.4 Magnitude. Both were located around 5km West of New Plymouth.
