Port Taranaki Bulls Win their First Ever Game under the Bulls name

Bell Block Rugby Fans witnessed the Port Taranaki Bulls Win their First Ever Game under the Bulls name. And thats about it. They were awful and 2nd rate with the saving grace that the Counties Manukau Steelers were even worse. Once again a solid crowd turned up in damp conditions, with many leaving at half time as the crowd witnessed the worst first half in ITM Cup Rugby History. The score was 3-3 at half time. The 2nd half was a step up with 3 try’s scored. The next game is away to Northland, and should be another victory, but on current form that will be it for the season.
TARANAKI 17 (Seta Tamanivalu, Kurt Baker tries; Codey Rei 2 con, pen) COUNTIES MANUKAU 10 (Maama Vaipulu try; Jared Page con, Piers Francis pen).
