New Plymouth Free Community Christmas Dinner Proves a Hit for the 28th Time.

For the 28th Year in a Row, Residents from Bell Block and New Plymouth were treated to a generous Free Christmas Feast on Christmas Day 2015. The New Plymouth Community Christmas Dinner was free to people from all walks of life and is held at St Joseph Hall on Devon Street West,New Plymouth. While numbers were down on recent years (mainly due to the amazing Hot weather). Harry Duynhoven made a fine speech as Patron of the Trust that runs this free community event and even said grace before people tucked into their meal. Santa played his part very well, but with the lack of Children who turned up, there was 30 odd presents still un-opened. Merry Christmas to you all.
