When Jetstar launched its service on the 1st February 2016 it originally promised 27 return flights from New Plymouth each week, however it was currently only offering 20. A spokesman said the company had made adjustments to its schedule timings midway through February and had postponed adding a fourth flight per day – which would take the weekly return flight total to 27 – until later in the 2016.
