The New Plymouth based Egmont Lions Club has folded due to their members not wanting to put their names forward for Club President and other roles in the club. As most people know the Egmont Lions Club have run the highly popular New Plymouth Christmas Parade for the past 50 odd years. What will happen to this popular event now? Will Christmas in New Plymouth in 2016 now be cancelled? This won’t effect the Bell Block or any other Christmas Parade in Taranaki. Long live Farther Christmas…….
