The Bell Block to Auckland SH3 highway will now open at 1pm today, Thursday 22nd September 2016. The geotechnical engineers have now advised that the cliff face has stabilised sufficiently to allow contractors safely on site to clear the rocks and debris, and reinstate concrete barriers. When the road does re-open, it will be under a Stop/Go with a speed limit of 30km/h. This may lead to minor delays in the area.
